Then there was a full-time postgraduate course and before its completion the defense of the candidate’s dissertation “Clinical and neurophysiological characteristics of the functional state of the somato-sensory afferent system in persons exposed to ionizing radiation due to the Chornobyl accident” (October 21, 1993). The doctoral dissertation “Mental disorders under the action of ionizing radiation as a result of the Chornobyl disaster: neurophysiological mechanisms, unified clinical diagnosis, treatment” was defended (December 9, 2002) in two specialties “radiobiology” and “psychiatry”. In 2007, K.M. Loganovsky was awarded the title of professor of “radiobiology”. Since 2000, Konstantin Mykolaevich is a qualified doctor of the highest category in the specialty “psychiatry”.
